South Los Angeles: Detectives released a video that captured the robbery of a neighborhood restaurant.
On January 30, 2012 at 10:08 a.m., a man entered a restaurant located in the 6200 block of Broadway and walked directly behind the cashier counter. He pulled out a handgun and brandished it in front of the cashier and demanded money. The cashier, in fear for his safety, opened the cash register and stepped away. The suspect walked up to the register, removed the money and walked out of the restaurant.
The suspect is described as a 25 to 27-year-old African-American, who stands around 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He was wearing a black beanie, black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt.
