Los Angeles: LAPD West Los Angeles Robbery Unit detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate two men who invaded a West Los Angeles home earlier today.
This morning about 7 a.m., when a caretaker at a home in the 300 block of Norcroft Avenue emerged to retrieve a newspaper, he was attacked by two men wearing masks. The men immediately forced him back into the residence and tied him up to restrain him. There was also an elderly man in a locked, upstairs bedroom who was unharmed and unaware of the incident in progress. Later, gardners found the caretaker and notified police.
The suspects took several items from the home and left the location in a Chrysler 300. Witnesses provided a limited description of the suspects as two males wearing ski masks, gloves and dark-colored clothing.
