On June 1, 2012 William Dixon was located in the area of his residence in good health and is back, safe with his family.

Los Angeles:  The Los Angeles Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating a missing man who is in poor health and needs medication.

On May 30, 2012, at around 9 p.m., 72-year-old William Dixon was last seen in the 1600 block of West 59th Place in Los Angeles.  Dixon is retired and wandered away from his Los Angeles residence.  Due to his health, his family is very concerned for his safety.

Dixon is described as an African American male with a bald head and brown eyes.  He weighs about 210 pounds and stands 5 feet 9 inches tall.  He was last seen wearing a blue jacket with blue pants, a brown hat and white tennis shoes.

Anyone who has seen Dixon or has information regarding his location should contact Detective Merrill at the LAPD’s Missing Persons Unit, 213-996-1800.  During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (1-877-527-3247).
