Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), West Bureau Homicide Division Investigators are asking for the public’s help in their investigation of a decomposed body found in a vehicle in the Fairfax district near West Hollywood.
On June 9, 2012, around 11 a.m., a pedestrian noticed a foul odor emanating from the Cadillac in the area of Willoughby Avenue and Genesee Avenue and called the police. Officers responded and discovered a decomposed body in the vehicle. The body was removed to the Coroner’s office. Due to the condition of the body, identification of the decedent and cause of death cannot be determined at this time.
The case is being investigated as a suspicious death at this time. Residents in the area noticed the vehicle had been in the same spot for the last few days.
