The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has completed the autopsy of the remains of the body found in the black Cadillac SUV. It was determined the cause of death was due to a gunshot wound. The victim was identified as 32-year-old Steven John Simmons of Running Springs. A motive for the murder has not been determined.
At this time, Robbery-Homicide Division is looking to speak with a person of interest named Jacob Anthonisen.

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) West Bureau Homicide Division Investigators are asking for the public’s help in their investigation of a body found in a vehicle in the Fairfax District near West Hollywood.
On June 9, 2012, around 11 a.m., in the area of Willoughby Avenue and Genesee Avenue, a pedestrian noticed what appeared to be a dead body in a Cadillac and called the police. Officers responded and confirmed a deceased person in the vehicle. Residents in the area noticed the vehicle had been in the same spot for the last few days.
