Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department West LA Area detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying four members of a knock-knock burglary crew who have targeted homes in West Los Angeles and Beverly Hills.
On September 4, 2012, around 4:10 pm., suspects door-knocked a home in the 12600 block of W. Sunset Bl. When there was no answer, the suspects tried to enter the house through the rear yard by the side gate. As the suspects started walking towards the side gate, they were confronted by the victim who heard the knock at the front door and came out onto the drive way. Suspects confronted by the victim got into their car and left the residence in an unknown direction. The last suspect before leaving punched the victim in the face, causing the victim to fall to the ground.
Suspect one is described as a black male, 18-25 years old, wearing a white tank top, with brown shorts and blue shoes.
Suspects two through four is described black male, 18-25 years old.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a four door ‘98-‘03 black Lincoln Continental or a Towncar with a partial license plate of 4k-k— or 4k-k3–.
