To celebrate the life, legacy and vision of civil rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. by commemorating a transformative partnership between the LAPD and the African American community throughout the entire City of Los Angeles.
Over the years, the LAPD has been committed to restoring public confidence along with building trust and respect between officers and the communities they serve.
The Department has pledged to partner with the community to reduce fear and the incidence of crime and to help guide the youth of Los Angeles toward a successful path.
