WHY:
To announce a $50,000 reward for information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the hit-and-run drivers who killed 22-year-old Thomas Robert Price.
On Saturday, December 2, 2012, around 2:15 a.m., Price was struck by a car while crossing Reseda Boulevard at Bessemer Street, in the San Fernando Valley. While the victim lay motionless on the roadway, a second car struck him. Tragically, Price died of his injuries at a local hospital.
The first car is described as a possible 1997/1998 dark grey SUV with a 4 to 5 inch lift kit. The second car was a compact passenger vehicle. Both drivers sped away from the scene without stopping, providing identification or rendering aid.
Investigators have run out of leads and are hopeful that a monetary reward will serve as an incentive for additional information to develop so that this case can be solved.
Visuals will include a photograph of Mr. Price and a copy of the video depicting the collisions.
