Los Angeles: The family of a missing person and the Los Angeles Police Department are asking for public assistance in their search for an elderly woman who has been missing for several days.
Fannie Luesendy Brown was last seen by her brother on March 9, 2013, around 8:30 p.m. at her residence in the 1000 block of East 33rd Street in LAPD’s Newton Division. Brown’s family is very concerned for her welfare and advised police that Brown may be in need of healthcare treatment because of a medical condition.
Brown is described as an 82-year-old black female with brownish gray hair and brown eyes. She has a thin build, dark complexion, stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a red robe and is a frequent user of public transportation.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Brown is asked to call the LAPD Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1800. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls can be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7.
