WHY:
To facilitate the opportunity to engage in open dialogue with members of the LGBTQ  Community within the City of Los Angeles.  Chief Charlie Beck will address the continued efforts made by the LAPD to strengthen partnerships with the LGBTQ community in a spirit of respect and dignity. Other topics of discussion will include LAPD’s jail policies, operations, police training and education.
