On March 25, the day after the collision, victim David Alexander Granados died at the hospital from his injuries.

Los Angeles:  Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Valley Traffic Division detectives are asking for public’s help in locating the driver responsible for a hit-and-run traffic collision that left a bicyclist seriously injured.  

On March 24, 2013 around 6:30 p.m., a traffic collision occurred at the intersection of Oxnard Street and Bellaire Avenue in the San Fernando Valley.  The victim, an 18-year- old male was riding his bicycle on Bellaire Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle traveling west on Oxnard Street.  The victim sustained major injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for medical treatment

The suspect is believed to be an older male of unknown ethnicity.  The suspect was driving an older model silver or grey Mercedes Benz ML at the time of the accident.
