Man Dies in Solo Traffic Collision NR13210rh

Los Angeles:   The Los Angeles Police Department, West Traffic Detectives are currently investigating a solo traffic collision.

On June 18, 2013, around 4:20 a.m., a solo traffic collision occurred on Highland Avenue south of Melrose Avenue. The driver of the vehicle was travelling southbound on Highland Avenue when he lost control and hit a tree.  The vehicle burst into flames and the driver died at scene.

The driver of the 2013 Mercedes C250 has been identified as 33-year-old Michael Mahon Hastings.
