Los Angeles: LAPD South Traffic Division detectives are requesting the public’s help in identifying the suspect responsible for the hit and run death of a 16-year-old boy.
On Friday, September 13, 2013 around 8:20 p.m., a motorist was traveling north on Normandie Avenue towards 42nd Street and collided with the juvenile who was attempting to cross the street on Normandie Avenue in a marked cross walk. The motorist continued north on Normandie Avenue failing to stop, render aid or to identify himself/ herself. The impact of the collision caused the pedestrian to sustain life threatening injuries.
Detective’s investigation revealed that the motorist was driving a white 4-door sedan Nissan or Honda. There is no description of the driver.
