Los Angeles: The family of Walter Thompson and the Los Angeles Police Department’s Mission Station are asking for the public’s help in locating Thompson.
On October 27, 2013, around 9:15 p.m., Thompson was last seen at the Nursing Home facility located in the 14000 block of Astoria Street in Sylmar. Thompson left from the location and has not been seen or heard from since. His family is extremely concerned for his welfare because uses a wheel chair and suffers from Dementia.
Thompson is described as an 84-year-old Black male with brown hair, brown eyes. He stands about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He was wearing a blue black and gray knit sweater and blue sweat pants.
The initial police investigation has revealed that Thompson may have been in the area of Foothill Boulevard and Hubbard Street.
