Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department and West Valley Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of suspect(s) who stabbed an 18-year-old young man.
In the early morning hours of Sunday, February 23, 2014, West Valley uniformed patrol personnel responded to a radio call of a Stabbing Ambulance en-route in the 7800 block of Vanalden Avenue. There were also reports of a large party at this location.
A fight broke out as partygoers were leaving the residence, which resulted in a victim being stabbed in the upper torso. Prior to the officer’s arrival the victim had been taken to a hospital by unknown citizens where he underwent surgery and is listed in critical condition.
Witnesses described a possible suspect who fled the scene after the stabbing. Those witnesses described the individual as a possible male Hispanic.
