Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Northeast Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect who killed a 45-year-old man. The victim’s name is not being released pending next of kin notification.
On March 09, 2014, around 4:35 p.m., Officers responded to a radio call of an “ADW shooting” at the 900 block of North Academy Road. According to detectives the victim was involved in a dispute with the suspect. The suspect produced a handgun and shot the victim multiple times.
The victim was transported to a local hospital by private vehicle where he died a short time later from his injuries.
The motive for the murder appears to be gang related.
