Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Criminal Gang Homicide Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) who killed 28-year-old Joshua Johnson.
On Friday, November 7, 2014 around 9:45 p.m., Southeast Patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting in the 1500 block of East 92nd Street. The victim, later identified as Joshua Johnson was seated inside his parked vehicle, a white Pontiac Grand Prix, when three male Black suspects in their teens or early twenties drove up in a dark sedan alongside the victim’s vehicle. One of the occupants in the suspects’ vehicle shot multiple times at the victim. The suspects then fled in the vehicle eastbound 92nd Street.
Joshua Johnson was pronounced dead at scene by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel.
The suspect’s vehicle and weapon used are outstanding. At this moment the motive for this incident is unknown.
