The Good Shepherd Shelter provides victims of domestic violence a safe, nurturing environment in which mothers and their children can heal, reawaken their dignity, self-confidence, and learn the skills that will help them stop the cycle of domestic violence.
Domestic violence affects all cultures, socio-economic levels, educational levels and age groups. One-quarter to one-third of women have been affected by domestic violence.
