Los Angeles:  The family of Amyleila Mejia and the Los Angeles Police Department Missing Person’s Unit are asking for the public’s help to find her.

On December 9, 2014, around 6:00 p.m., Amyleila Mejia was last seen in the 100 block of Hamlet Street in the city of Los Angeles with her one month old baby, Leah Mejia. Ms. Mejia is possibly suffering from postpartum depression and her family is concerned that they have not been located.

Ms. Mejia is described as a 23-year-old Hispanic female with brown hair and brown eyes.  She stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds.  Leah Mejia has brown eyes and black hair.
