LAPD Needs Help in Locating Parent of 3-Year-Old Child NR14480an

The 3-year-old found girl has been reunited with her parent and The Department of Children and Family Services is investigating.

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is looking for the parent or guardian of a 3-year-old little girl who was abandoned at the Grove shopping center in the Fairfax area yesterday evening.

On December 20, 2014, around 6pm, the parking attendants of the The Grove shopping center, stated that a woman dropped off the young girl at the valet parking area with a car seat but nobody arrived to pick her up.  The attendants notified police and officers took the child into protective custody.  The Department of Children and Family Services was also contacted and are assisting with the care of the 3-year-old little girl.

The child’s name is Audrey and she appears to be in good condition.  Audrey has long, dark hair and was wearing a pink shirt and purple pants.  Although Audrey was able to provide her first name, she has been unable to provide her last name or any additional information about her parents or guardian.
