Los Angeles: On Sunday, January 4, 2015, around 2:35 a.m., a driver hit and killed a pedestrian in the street. The driver then fled from the area without helping the woman who died at the scene.
The fatal Hit and Run collision occurred near the intersection of Slauson Avenue and Denker Avenue in central Los Angeles. Driving eastbound on Slauson Avenue, the driver’s vehicle struck 39 year-old Treva Yvonne Arnold as she was walking in the street. The unknown driver continued on Slauson Avenue and did not stop to render aid to the dying female.
The on scene traffic investigation revealed that the vehicle is possibly tan or silver in color and that a damaged Volkswagen hubcap was found nearby. Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Detectives are seeking any information regarding this fatal collision.
