WHAT: An opportunity for members of the Asian Pacific Islander Community to meet and get to know Operations-Valley Bureau’s (OVB) new leadership at each of the seven Areas and Bureau levels. This Forum will provide members of the Asian Pacific Islander Community with a chance to begin a dialogue on issues important to their culture. LAPD OVB is dedicated to enhancing the relationship with members of the Asian Pacific Islander Community and law enforcement within the San Fernando Valley.

WHY: The LAPD is a leader in community policing. By hosting a Community Forum, OVB will be working hand-in-hand with members of the Asian Pacific Islander Community in order to address issues and concerns specific to their culture and law enforcement within the San Fernando Valley.
