Los Angeles: In the early morning hours of April 14, 2015, Los Angeles Police Department Pacific Area detectives booked a suspect for rape.
The suspect, Samuel Robert Duran Jr., was booked for multiple counts of 261(A)(2) of the Penal Code and bail was set for $8,000,000. Duran is a 33 year-old Hispanic who was residing in Culver City. Due to the nature of this crime, the victim information is confidential and will not be released. At this time, detectives are still investigating the circumstances of how Duran and the victim met.
