Sun Valley: Detectives from Valley Traffic Division are seeking additional information regarding a fatal motorcycle traffic collision.
On Monday, May 25, 2015, around 10:10 p.m., a fatal traffic collision occurred in the community of Sun Valley. A 2006 Honda RS motorcycle was travelling south on Glenoaks Boulevard when it collided with the right front corner of a 2006 Hummer H2. The Hummer was making a left turn from northbound Glenoaks Boulevard to westbound Nettleton Street.
The Hummer was driven by Mukhtar Choudhary, a 51- year-old resident of Sun Valley. There was no evidence of impairment at the time of the investigation. Choudhary was not injured and remained at scene until emergency services arrived.
The Honda RS motorcycle was being ridden by Hovik Mkrtchian, a 24-year-old resident of Palmdale, California. Mkrtchian died at scene as a result of his injuries. The family of the deceased has been notified.
