Los Angeles: On
June 3, 2015, the Los Angeles Police Department Hollenbeck Division
Detectives arrested 24-year-old Gregory Dudley for Attempt Robbery
based on tips provided by the community.
Following the Attempt Robbery of the victim, the Los Angeles
Sheriff Department’s Transit Division released surveillance video
showing the suspect leaving the area. Detectives from Hollenbeck
Division received numerous tips after releasing the surveillance
video that led to the identification of Gregory Dudley. Hospital
personnel from a local hospital were able to identify and direct
officers to Gregory Dudley. The officers arrested Gregory Dudley
for the isolated crime committed on April 28, 2015.
Dudley is currently being held on $80,000 bail and is due in court
on June 17, 2015.
Los Angeles: Hollenbeck Area Robbery Detectives are
asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect that
attempted rob an eighty-four-year-old woman near the Mariachi Plaza
in Boyle Heights.
On April 28, 2015, around 1:50 p.m., the suspect approached the
victim from behind as she walked southbound on
Boyle Avenue towards East 1st Street. The suspect pushed the victim
against a wrought iron fence after failing to steal her purse. The
suspect then fled on foot. The suspect was seen running into the
Metro Station, located at East 1st Street and Boyle Avenue. Metro
Station surveillance system captured the suspect entering the
platform and boarding a westbound train. The eighty-four-year old
victim sustained a broken nose and numerous severe bruises to her
face and right knee as a result of the assault.
The suspect is described
as a 20-year-old male Black, 5’7″-5’9″ tall, medium build, with a
beard and mustache.
