Pacoima: Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Division are investigating a shooting that left two men dead.
On Saturday, July 26, 2015, around 5:45 a.m., Foothill Division patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting in the 12600 block of Pierce Street. Responding officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported both victims to local hospitals, where they were pronounced dead.
The victims have been identified as Mario Muro, a 32-year-old resident of North Hollywood, and Spencer Herrera, a 29-year-old resident of Pacoima.
The circumstances and motive for this double homicide are still under investigation.
