WHAT: Los Angeles Police Department Recruit Officer Graduation Ceremony for Class 2-15

DETAILS: The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 27 officers. Out of the 27 graduates, 25 will be sworn for the LAPD, one will be sworn for Los Angeles World Airports, and one will be sworn as a security officer for the University of Southern California. Of the 25 LAPD graduates, there are 22 males and three females with the following ethnic breakdowns: five Caucasian, 14 Hispanic, two Asian (non-Korean), three African American and one Filipino. Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
NOTE: Event parking will not be provided. Use of public transportation is encouraged whenever possible. For those who need parking, recommended paid parking lots are located on South Main and South Spring Streets between West 2nd and West 3rd Streets.
