Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau Homicide is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the beating of 23-year-old, Giovanni Medina a resident of Los Angeles.
Early this morning, Sunday, August 9, 2015, around 4:00 a.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department was called out for a man lying down at Wilshire Boulevard and Vermont Avenue. When the Fire Department arrived they found a victim lying face down on the sidewalk. The victim was unconscious and had suffered blunt force trauma to his head. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was in critical, but stable, condition.
Wilshire and Vermont is well traveled and a busy intersection for traffic and pedestrians. Detectives are hoping that someone might have seen something.
