Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man dead in West Los Angeles.
On Wednesday, August 26, 2015 around 8:30 p.m., the victim was standing outside in the 3100 block of Canfield Avenue when unknown suspect(s) fired several shots injuring the victim. The Los Angeles Fire Department transported the victim to a local hospital where the victim later succumbed to his wounds.
The circumstances and motive for this homicide are unknown. The victim has been identified as 30-Year-Old James Gregory Jackson.
