Update
The City of Los Angeles is offering a reward of $50,000.00 for information leading to the identity, arrest, and prosecution of the person or persons that may be responsible for the death of Julia Moniz.
Los Angeles: Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person or persons responsible for a female’s death.
On October 17, 2015, around 9:45 p.m., Foothill patrol officers responded to radio call for a dead body located in the Tujunga Canyon Wash near Big Tujunga Canyon Road and Oro Vista Street. When the officers arrived, they found an adult female lying in the wash.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the call for service and determined that the female had been deceased for an unknown amount of time.
The circumstances of the death are unknown. This is an ongoing investigation.
