Los Angeles: Detectives from
the Los Angeles Police Department’s Newton Division are asking for
the public’s assistance in identifying armed robbery
suspects.
On December 7, 2015 around 7:45 p.m., three armed suspects entered
a business located in the 6400 block of South Broadway. The first
suspect took out a gun, pointed it at the employee, and demanded
money. When the employee refused, a struggle over the handgun
ensued. The second suspect took out a gun and hit the employee on
the back of the head. The third suspect also took out a gun and
pointed it at the employee. The suspects threatened to shoot the
employee if he did not open the register. The suspects took the
money and fled the business.
The first suspect is described as a male Black, mid 30’s, black
hair, and brown eyes. He stands approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall
and weighs approximately 190 lbs. He was wearing a black hooded
sweatshirt and dark pants.
The second suspect is described as a male Black, mid 20’s, and
black hair. He stands approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and
weighs approximately 160 lbs. He was wearing a black hooded
sweatshirt and dark pants.
The third suspect is described as a male Black, mid 30’s, and black
hair. He stands approximately 6 feet tall and weighs approximately
180 lbs. He was wearing a dark grey hooded sweatshirt and dark
pants.
