Strong Arm Robbery Suspect Caught on Camera NR16082rmh

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles
Police Department’s Rampart Division, is asking for the public’s
help in identifying a robbery suspect involved in multiple
robberies committed in the span of a 2 to 3 block radius.

On Friday, January 22, 2016, around 5:40 p.m. the suspect entered a
local Market located in the 1800 block of West Pico Boulevard. The
suspect began to argue with the store clerk and grabbed a 12 pack
of beer from the cooler. The suspect pushed and punched the clerk
prior to leaving the store without paying for the beer.

The suspect is also wanted for a
robbery that occurred on Friday, January 22, 2016, around 5:55 p.m.
in the 1300 block of Alvarado Terrace. The suspect approached the
victim and attempted to sell the victim marijuana. When the victim
refused to purchase the marijuana the suspect demanded money, and
began to punch the victim on the face. The suspect took victim’s
property and fled on foot.

Later that day around 6:30 p.m. the suspect approached another
victim and demanded the phone the victim was speaking on. When the
victim refused, the suspect punched him on the face. The victim ran
towards a group where a female told the suspect to leave the victim
alone. Suspect focused his attention on the female and approached
her and demanded her property. She refused and the suspect punched
her in the face and fled the location on foot.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic with shaved head and is
approximately 20 to 25 years old. He has brown eyes and stands
around 5 feet 7 inches tall and weights approximately 140
pounds.
