What: News Conference to announce a reward offer for information leading to the identification of murder suspects.

When: Wednesday, April 27, 2016 1:30 p.m.

Where: Rampart Area Community Police Station 1401 West 6th Street Los Angeles, CA 90017

Who: Detective Audelo, LAPD Rampart Homicide Division Detective Martinez, LAPD Rampart Homicide Division Family Members

Why: On Tuesday, June 23, 2015, around 10:04 p.m., Oscar Lazo was involved in a fight with multiple male suspects in the area of Rockwood Street and Union Avenue. During the fight, Mr. Lazo was stabbed with an unknown weapon. Due to the severity of his injuries, Mr. Lazo was pronounced dead at scene by paramedics.

Detectives will be releasing portions of a surveillance video of the incident. The victim’s mother will be available for a statement.
