San Pedro: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Division Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a murder suspect.
On Wednesday, August 17, 2016, around 2:25 a.m., Harbor Area officers responded to a radio call of shots heard in the 300 block of West 3rd Street in San Pedro. Upon arrival, officers located a male Hispanic in the rear parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound.
The Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene.
The incident is possibly gang related and is an ongoing investigation. The identity of the victim is being withheld until notification of the victim’s next of kin.
