Panorama City: The Los Angeles Police Department, Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect responsible for the death of a man.
On January 12, 2017, around 7:00 p.m., Mission Area uniformed patrol officers responded to a radio call of an “ambulance stabbing” on Cedros Avenue and Parthenia Street.
When officers arrived, they were met by Los Angeles City Fire Paramedics, who were treating the victims stab wounds. Los Angeles City Fire Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital. Despite lifesaving efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries. The victim did not have any identification on him and was admitted to the hospital as John Doe.
Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and their investigation revealed that the victim was stabbed and then collapsed on the sidewalk. A citizen discovered the victim and contacted the police.
A search of the neighborhood was completed and detectives were unable to identify the victim. Individuals around the area only knew the victim as, “Diablo”. There is no suspect description available.
