WHO: Captain William Hayes, Commanding Officer, Robbery Homicide Division

WHY: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery Homicide Division will announce the arrest of the suspect responsible for a kidnap and sexual assault in 2001. In 2001 a 14-year-old was kidnapped from Northridge and sexually assaulted. This week, RHD detectives arrested the suspect responsible and are seeking any additional victims. Photos of the suspect will be provided by detectives.
