WHAT: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Olympic Division host its annual Police Unity Tour Fundraising BBQ.

WHEN: Wednesday, April 12, 2017 11a.m. – 8 p.m.

WHERE: Los Angeles Olympic Police Station 1130 South Vermont Avenue Los Angeles, CA 90006

WHO: LAPD Sergeant Alex Ortiz, Officer in Charge Olympic Senior Lead Office LAPD Senior Lead Officer Eric Mollinedo, Olympic Division

WHY: On May 10, 2017, Los Angeles Police Officers participating in the Police Unity Tour will bicycle almost 300 miles from Somerset, New Jersey and travel through Philadelphia, Baltimore, and ultimately into Washington DC. The primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness about the police officers that have died in the line of duty.

The public is invited and encouraged to come out and support their police officers. Carne asada or chicken tacos, beans, rice, dessert and drink will be served for $7.
