WHAT: Press Conference

WHERE: Police Administration Building – COMPSTAT Room 100 West 1st Street Los Angeles, CA 90012

WHO: LAPD Detective Marc Zavala, Cargo Hijack Unit Commercial Crimes Division

WHY: On August 18, 2016, a search warrant was served at a business in the City of Los Angeles that was identified as receiving stolen property. Hundreds of pieces of jewelry, high value purses, collectible coins and other items were seized.

The news conference will be to notify the community of the recovered property and advised them of the department website to view the property in the hopes of identifying additional victims.
