Los Angeles: Detectives from
the Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Area are asking for the
public’s assistance in identifying attempt murder suspects.
On Thursday, December 29, 2016, between 1:50 a.m., and 2:00 a.m.,
the victims and suspects met inside the Gold Room Bar at 1558 W.
Sunset Blvd. The victims and the suspect are observed having drinks
together and are captured on the business’ security cameras. When
the bar closed, the victims and the suspect all left at the same
time. The victims and suspect engaged in a verbal dispute. The
suspect struck Victim-2 on the side of the head, causing a
laceration. Victim-1 tried to keep the peace after the physical
altercation and went to talk to the suspect. The suspect then
struck Victim-1 with the knife, cutting him on his neck and face.
The suspect fled in a dark colored 4 door sedan.
The suspect is described as male Hispanic, brown hair, brown eyes,
5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing between 200 to
210 pounds, and is 25 to 30 years old. The suspect has a beard and
multiple tattoos on his face, neck and head. He was last seen
wearing a black jacket with gray pants.
