“Operation Broken Heart IV” Results in the Arrests of Hundreds of Child Predators

WHY: During the months of April and May 2017, Internet Crimes against Children (ICAC) Task Forces across the nation, launched “Operation Broken Heart IV”. The Los Angeles Regional Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC), operation resulted in the arrest of many child predators. Investigators will outline the operation and provide information as to their individual roles in the operation. There will be a mobile lab on display, which is maintained by ICAC- LAPD. It is used for on-site examination of digital devices use for the production, distribution and possession of child pornography.
