WHAT:Los Angeles Police Department Recruit Officer Graduation Ceremony for Class 1-17

WHEN: Friday, July 7, 2017 8 a.m.

WHERE: Los Angeles Police Academy- Elysian Park 1880 North Academy Drive Los Angeles 90012

WHO: Los Angeles Police Department Chief Charlie Beck Representatives from the LAPD Board of Commissioners Representatives from the Mayor’s Office LAPD Command Staff and Special Guests

DETAILS: The Los Angeles Police Department will graduate 48 Police Officers. Of the 48 graduates, there are 43 males and 5 females with the following ethnic breakdowns: 8 Caucasian, 33 Hispanic, 5 Black, and 2 Asian.

In addition to LAPD, 1 Los Angeles World Airport Police Officer will be graduating.

Graduating officers will have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.

NOTE: Event parking will not be available. There is public parking off Academy Road.
