Wilmington: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Area Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the shooting death of 19-year-old Steven Alvarez.
On July 18, 2017, around 8:40 p.m., Harbor Area patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the 1600 block of McDonald Avenue in the City of Wilmington. When officers arrived they found Alvarez had been struck by gunfire multiple times while sitting in his vehicle.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced Alvarez dead at scene. Detectives have no leads or suspect(s) information.
