Van Nuys: On September 5,
2017, members of the FBI/LAPD Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested
Antonio Reyes a resident of Arleta for attempted rape.
On Saturday, August 12, 2017, at 5:45 a.m., the victim was walking
in the area of 14000 block of Vanowen Street in the City of Van
Nuys. As she was approaching her apartment, she was confronted by
Antonio Reyes.
After numerous leads from the public, detectives were able
to identify Antonio Reyes as the suspect.
On September 5, 2017, acting on a tip the FBI/LAPD Violent Fugitive
Task Force located the suspect in Arleta while he was working as a
laborer and took him into custody without incident.
Detectives have provided Antonio Reyes photos in case there may be
additional victims of other unreported incidents and are asking for
the public’s assistance in locating them.
