Panorama City: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the death of two victim’s.
On December 15, 2017, around 3:20 a.m., Mission Area patrol officers responded to a “ambulance shooting” radio call in the 8500 block of Van Nuys Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found victim-1 lying in the street unconscious and not breathing having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Victim-2 was lying on the sidewalk a few feet away also unconscious and not breathing having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced one victim dead at scene and the other victim was transported to a local hospital where they were pronounced dead. The investigation revealed, the victim’s were at the bus stop when they were approached by the suspect(s). The suspect(s) fired numerous gunshot rounds striking the victim’s multiple times, the suspect(s) then fled the location.
The victims are residents of Panorama City and are pending notification to their next of kin. Detectives have no leads or suspect(s) information.
