UPDATE
On January 10, 2018, Mekbib Begashaw was found safely and reunited
with his family members.
Los Angeles: The family of Mekbib Begashaw and the
Los Angeles Police Department’s
Missing Persons Unit are asking for the public’s help in locating
him.
On January 8, 2018, around 7 a.m., Mr. Begashaw was last seen in
the 3700 block of Chesapeake Avenue in the City of Los Angeles, and
has not been heard from since. His family is concerned for his
well-being and he has not been found .
Mr. Begashaw is described
as a 70-year-old, Black male with brown hair, brown eyes. He stands
5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 125 pounds.
