WHAT: Los Angeles Police Department Recruit Officer Graduation Ceremony for Class 9-17

WHO: LAPD Chief Charlie Beck Representatives from the LAPD Board of Commissioners Representatives from the Mayor’s Office LAPD Command Staff and Special Guests

DETAILS: The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 34 officers. Of the 34 LAPD officers, there are 27 males and 7 females with the following ethnic breakdown: 5 Caucasians, 21 Hispanics, 4 Asians, 3 African-American and 1 Filipino. Graduating officers have completed 912 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.

In addition to LAPD, 4 Los Angeles World Airport Police Officers will be graduating, 1 Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Police Officer will be graduating and 1 Los Angeles Port Police Officer will also be graduating.
