WHAT: Memorial Ride

WHO: Los Angeles County Sheriff Department, Sheriff Jim McDonnell Los Angeles Police Department, Assistant Chief Michel Moore Los Angeles Police Department, Deputy Chief Dennis Kato Los Angeles County Sheriff Department, Chief John Benedict Los Angeles County Sheriff Department, Chief Warren Asmus Los Angeles County Sheriff Department, Commander Patrick Nelson
WHY: Members of the Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles County Sheriff Department will be embarking on a Cross Country Bicycle Ride to honor Law Enforcement Officers who have been killed in the line of duty. They will begin at Hollywood Division and over the course of 16 days will ride to Washington, D.C. Along with honoring these officers, they hope to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC.
