WHO: The incident Commander for the Department will be Deputy Chief Robert Arcos, Commanding Officer, Operations-Central Bureau
WHY: To identify Media Staging Areas, Media Viewing Areas, and to identify street closures as defined by the City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation. PLEASE GO TO DOT WEBSITE for Street closures.

Media Staging/Media Viewing Area: The media staging/viewing area for the assembly is the Northeast Corner of Olympic Blvd. and S. Broadway. Media parking has been dedicated on North Main Street.

PIOs will be staged at the start location and end location to monitor the media throughout the event. Additionally, PIOs will be staged along the demonstration route to monitor any media crews that stop outside the staging areas. PIOs will be deployed as needed in areas that media issues arise.
Additional stationary rally areas:
PIO’s will make periodic assessments of all media staging areas, and will make notifications via social media platforms.
