WHO: Council Member Marqueece Harris-Dawson (or his representative) from CD-8 Samantha Mays, mother of 15-year old murder victim, Hannah Bell LAPD Deputy Chief Philip Tingirides, Operations-South Bureau LAPD Commander Gerald Woodyard, Operations-South Bureau LAPD Captain Peter Whittingham, Commanding Officer, South Bureau Homicide Division LAPD Captain Ralph Ramirez, Commanding Officer, 77th Street Area South Bureau Homicide Detectives Representatives from GRYD and various Community/Faith Based Organizations
WHY: Senior staff and command personnel from the Los Angeles Police Department, leaders from the diverse communities of South Los Angeles, representatives from GRYD and a variety of community-based organizations, will join Council Member Marqueece Harris-Dawson in denouncing the senseless murder of an innocent victim, 15-year old Hannah Bell, which occurred on Saturday, April 29, 2018. The Council Member will also be announcing the reward of $50,000.00 for information leading to the identity, arrest, and prosecution of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Hannah Bell.
