Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect, or suspect’s, responsible for killing a man.
On May 13, 2018, around 4:20 a.m., West Valley Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of an “Assault with a Deadly Weapon Shots Fired,” on the 17800 block of Miranda Street in the City of Encino. Upon arrival, officers located two victims suffering from gun shot wounds.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and determined one victim had died at scene. A second victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
Victim one was identified as Guillermo Hernandez, a 28 year old resident of the City of Sylmar. The identity of victim two is not being released. There is no suspect description at this time.
